Premium quality Alfaholics production – accurate copy of original cast Veloce engine mounts which have become brittle over time and thus are often now cracked. We 3-D scanned original mounts to accurately copy the lovely original shape and CNC machined them from billet 7000 grade aluminium. This results in a very strong component, far superior to both the original part and the cheap square shape copies typically available. Supplied complete with high quality rubber mountings.

CNC machined from billet aircraft grade aluminium. These mounts tilt the engine to correct Veloce angle whilst also lowering the engine in the chassis to allow taller block height 1750/2000 engines to be installed into the 101 Series body. These mounts can also be used to lower the CofG when installing a 1300 or 1600 engine. Priced per pair.
We can supply both 1300 & 1600 101 Series performance cylinder heads for fast road, trackday/rally and full race use. These heads can be supplied in both standard valve size and big valve specifications.
Photographed here is our latest development 1600 trackday/rally/race cylinder head. It features special porting, our very latest design billet hollow billet camshafts, race quality oversize inlet and exhaust valves both with 8mm stems, race valve springs and special cam followers. It is converted to special 10mm small racing spark plugs. Supplied with inlet manifold and either our short (for maximum inlet clearance) or long billet CNC machined aluminium carb mounts (for increased torque – as seen here). Designed for use with either 40 or 45mm carburettors.
Our special camshaft design results in very fast accelerating valve lift and this gives very high power with huge torque and easy driving. Due to this camshaft design and the big inlet valves, we recommend this head is used in conjunction with our forged racing pistons which match this head.
Our standard valve 1600 head on 40mm Webers with our matched forged pistons will produce +40BHP over an original engine, circa 145BHP.
Our big valve 1600 head on 45mm carburettors with our matched forged pistons will produce +55BHP over an original engine, circa 160BHP.

Beautiful quality with special anti-friction coated skirt, exclusive to Alfaholics. These pistons are of the very highest quality of design and manufacture and are extremely lightweight. Piston mass reduction is critical to reducing conrod loadings which is very important especially high revving 1300 engines. We can have these made to any diameter if required including 1500cc F1 diameter. Come complete with gudgeon pins, circlips and piston rings.

These rods feature an I-beam section, which makes them lighter than the typical H-beam design and safe up to 9,500rpm. During development, we ran a set of these rods to 10,00rpm without failure!
A rule in the FIA App.K regulations, which used to outlaw all non-original rods, has recently been changed and now allows aftermarket rods to be used, provided that their design is as per the original rod. As a result, whilst traditional H-beam rods remain illegal, our new I-beam rods would seem to be FIA compliant.

Manufactured exclusively for Alfaholics and developed using the very latest knowledge in crank design to run safely at up to 9,500rpm! The oil gallery design has been greatly improved to provide better oil flow to the bearings at high revs. The counterweights have been optimized, both in terms of mass and design, to ensure that the piston and rod assembly is accurately counterweighted all the way to 9,500rpm. If the crank is being used in bigger bore applications, for example in single seaters, heavy metal inserts can be fitted to the holes in the webs to match the higher piston mass and maintain perfect counterweighting. The original ‘half moon’ system for locating the flywheel bolts has been replaced with direct threading of the crank using M10 bolts for improved strength. The crank is supplied nitrided.

Its 8 counterweight design results in improved smoothness at high revs due to the piston/rod assembly being better counterweighted than is possible with a standard 4 weight crank. This allows the engine to be revved higher to produce more power with greatly increased reliability. The oil gallery route has been optimised to provide vastly superior lubrication of the bearings when most required in the cycle. The original ‘half moon’ system for locating the flywheel bolts has been replaced with direct threading of the crank using M10 bolts for improved strength. The crank is supplied balanced, nitrided and superfinished.

Machined using aircraft-grade aluminium and finished in hard anodizing. Features graduated markings 0-40 degrees to aid distributor advance setting. Both alternator (large) & dynamo (small) type in stock. For high revving late-race engines we recommend fitting the smaller dynamo version to help reduce water speed. This helps the water pick up heat from the engine to improve cooling efficiency.
