Piston mass reduction is critical to reducing conrod loadings which is very important in these long stroke Alfa engines, especially high revving 1600 engines.

Our pistons are designed for 22mm ‘little end’ width to reduce reciprocating weight, so if you are using factory rods you need to mill the rods 2mm narrower to match the pistons.
