Aluminium Bonnet – GTA

Laser scanned from a new ‘old stock’ steel step front bonnet to enable us to CNC machine a solid resin tool for pressing the aluminium frame to ensure perfect accuracy.

The skin is precision hand wheeled and then fitted to the frame which features all the factory pressings and captives. By making the skin and the frame from aluminium, the bonnet is very light (6.2kg).

A race version is also available with swage-punched holes in the frame for additional weight saving.
