Shock Absorber Turret Extenders

Manufactured using water-jet cutting technology, from 1″ thick aluminium plate. By lowering your 105 considerably from standard ride height, shock absorbers made to factory specification, run low in their range of travel. They then run the risk of bottoming out and damaging the internal valving. Fit these 1″ extender blocks under your steel top hat turrets to lift the shock 1″ further back into the middle of its stroke range.

Early cars such as Sprint GTs and GTAs have shorter turrets fitted with an original cast aluminium block similar to these we have manufactured. However, often over the years these are forgotten about during a rebuild and the shocks will then bottom out before the car goes on to its bump stops. If your car does not have them fitted, ensure you fit these to prevent damage to your shock absorbers.
