Extremely lightweight billet CNC machined flat flywheel manufactured from very high tensile EN24T steel. Weighs only 4.8 kgs including ring gear! AP Racing’s latest technology billet aluminium black anodised pressure plate weighing an amazing 1.2kgs, 4-paddle cera-metallic friction plate, premium quality round nose release bearing and bespoke Alfaholics manufactured billet machined aluminium release bearing carrier to adapt to fit directly to either Alfa Romeo hydraulic clutch fork and bell-housing or cable operated clutch – please specify when ordering.

We chose to use a single plate 4-paddle cera-metallic plate set up as it allows much more clutch pedal feel than a sintered friction material. Sintered materials cause the clutch pedal to feel like an on/off button, which is much too aggressive for historic tyres, as well as putting huge strains through the rest of the drivetrain and making the car difficult to drive in the wet! We have been using this cera-metallic paddle setup in all our competition cars for the past 15 years with 100% success and are much happier with its characteristics compared with the previous twin plate sintered setup used. We are even so happy with its driving characteristics that we have used it on high power trackday cars when the carscombine between road and competition use.

This kit comes complete and is ready to bolt directly to your Alfa Romeo. Flywheel available with 6 bolt crank fitment and 130T ring gear, or 8 bolt crank fitment with 110T ring gear, please choose.

Sachs Rally Sport Clutch kit for fitment with standard/lightweight flywheels, direct replacement for factory 105 clutch unit. Lightweight, unsprung friction plate with higher spec material with genuine F&S cover. Available for hydraulic clutch applications only. Please not the un-sprung nature of the friction plate makes this clutch more of a competition clutch than a sport road clutch, however both uses are possible.

Alfaholics has designed and manufactured this mass damper flywheel to combat the inherent vibrations that occur in all high revving 4-cylinder engines. These vibration harmonics reduce bearing life and in worst case scenarios can cause catastrophic engine failure when a bearing either breaks up or picks up on the journal & seizes.

This damper flywheel works by having rollers that shuttle within pockets that cause a counteractive force to those that are damaging the crank, this counteractive force controls the amplitude of vibration. This ability to absorb rather than merely dampen the vibration is the key to their success.

We have been using these flywheels in our top specification race and track-day engines for several years and you can simply feel the difference through your feet driving cars fitted with these flywheels. On disassembly of engines during winter check overs, the bearing condition of these engines speaks for itself as to the benefits these flywheels bring to top end engine builds.

Available for 6-bolt crank with a 130 tooth ring gear to fit all 2000 as well as late 1600/1750 with hydraulic clutch application or 8-bolt crank (10mm bolt size) with a 105 tooth ring gear for all early 1300/1600 cable clutch applications.

This kit is designed to convert RHD cars to fit a racing clutch master cylinder. It is perfectly suited to both road and circuit use.

Fits directly to original chassis points, uses original mounting bolts, requires no additional fabrication or drilling.

Can also be used to convert cable clutch cars to hydraulic set up.

This kit has several main advantages over the original Alfa set up:-

  1. Quality of master cylinder is superior to reproduction Alfa unit.
  2. Cost of replacement master cylinder nearly half that of reproduction Alfa unit.
  3. Master cylinders available locally wordwide.
  4. Master cylinders extremely simple to overhaul with cheap rebuild kits readily available.
  5. Kit includes braided clutch line which connects master cylinder directly to slave cylinder, thereby removing necessity for clumsy copper pipe and flexi hose set up. It features swivel ends for ease of fitment.
  6. FIA legal for appendix J racing.
  7. Different bore master cylinders can be bought – useful if converting to race twin plate clutch set up or experimenting with different pedal weight.

Kit includes beautifully made and TIG welded bracket, finished in top quality black powder coating, adapter rod to connect Alfa clutch pedal rod to Girling master cylinder, Girling master cylinder and top quality braided clutch line.
