This car has undergone a full professional restoration and re-build.
The 1970 GT Junior shell was stripped back to bare metal, repair sections replaced as necessary and doors/bonnet/boot re-skinned with aluminium panels. Re-sprayed in Rosso red 501 paint. The underside and wheel arches under-sealed and waxoyled. All mechanical parts were transferred from a 1750, re-furbished (sandblasted and powder coated/enamelled) or replaced as appropriate. The car was built for me as a fast road car with track ability. Harvey-Bailey suspension, uprated four-pot calliper/larger discs and dual cylinder pedal box with in-car brake balance adjuster. Other improvements include Alfaholics road sport exhaust, 55l aluminium foam lined fuel tank, Xenon headlights and Alfa Strada 6×14 alloys with Yokahama tyres. The engine which has been lightly tuned by Gran Turismo produces 156 BHP and 135 BHP at the wheels. Full roll cage and Lexon side and rear windows. Fully re-trimmed interior including new head liner, custom made carpets, Alfaholics leather bucket seats and Momo steering wheel with quick release boss.
This really is a beautiful car to look at and drive. A full file of all the work carried out is available and high resolution pictures can be emailed if required.
