After last year’s hugely successful customer trip to the Nurburgring, we have decided to organise another trip to the infamous old GP circuit for this summer! The feedback from last year’s “Ringers” has been tremendous and, unsurprisingly, we have been inundated with requests for more of the same in 2008.

As those who came last year will testify, lapping the Nordschleife is quite simply the ultimate driving experience. 13 miles and 73 bends add up to what is undoubtedly the most demanding circuit in the world. It’s hard to describe just how good it is until you’ve been there!

This time, we have managed to reserve exclusively a hotel near the circuit, which will be our base for the weekend. We shall be leaving the UK on Friday morning for a relaxed drive across in order to arrive at the hotel mid-afternoon. The circuit is open in the evening for those eager to get some early laps in. We shall then head to the famous Pistenklause restaurant to sample the German beer on offer and the superb steaks on a hot skillet. Those who came last year will remember them well!

The circuit will be open all day on Saturday and we have organised a top quality barbeque in the evening at the hotel, exclusively for Alfaholics guests.

The circuit is also open all day on Sunday which we will follow with a leisurely evening in preparation for the trip home on Monday. We shall aim to catch a late afternoon Eurotunnel train from Calais to Folkestone on Monday.

The Nordschleife is a truly incredible circuit, one that all trackday enthusiasts absolutely must visit. The atmosphere at the circuit is electric and will be enhanced by the sight of a flock of 105 series Alfas in the paddock together – what a sight that will be!

This trip is open to all our customers worldwide but accommodation at the hotel is limited, so please ensure you book with Alfaholics early to avoid missing out. The atmosphere and camaraderie last year was superb, so this year’s trip will once again undoubtedly prove to be great fun!
