 | Oversize Inlet Valve 1mm oversize inlet valve. They feature swirl machining on the head of the valve to improve the gas flow into the cylinder.  | Aluminium Carburettor Mounts - Short Alfaholics Production, top quality CNC machined from billet aluminium. Over time, the original rubber mounts crack and leak air causing the mixture to weaken and consequently the engine to run roughly. Even the replacement reproduction rubber mounts have been known to crack prematurely and this has led us to manufacture these superb billet aluminium items for use as a direct replacement. They use premium quality rubber 'O' rings to form a perfect seal between the mount and the carburettor. These rubber 'O' rings, together with thackery washers (included in the kit), provide each carburettor with the necessary damping from engine vibrations. This 'O' ring set up is used widely for racing as it is considered to be the most effective and reliable method of carburettor mounting. The kit is supplied complete with studs pre-fitted in the mounts, 'O' rings, thackery washers and nyloc nuts. They are ported for standard 40mm carburettors, but will allow additional porting for up to 45mm carburettors. Superb quality and fit for all cars, both RHD and LHD, including cable + hydraulic clutch & pendant + floor pedals. Tail pipes for Duetto, Kammtail and GT/Saloon. Comes complete with all brackets and clamps. Features 2 straight through silencers to minimise power loss, but is not too loud! The system is so good we use it on our full blown Alfaholics 2 litre Sprint GT Racer, we pass all noise tests at 99db @ 4500rpm with a full race engine so we can even run at trackdays!  | Re-built Bosch distributor with re-mapped advance curve The Bosch units fitted to most Alfa Romeo 105 Series cars up to the late electronic units have proved to be unsuitable for use with modern petrol. This type of fuel has a different burn rate from the old 4 star petrol available when the cars were new. Thus, compromises need to be made to the timing. Usually this is done by a reduction of the maximum advance at speed, to avoid dangerous detonation; however, this also brings an unfavourable reduction of the idle setting which causes erratic running and poor starting. These distributors have been re-calibrated to make the advance curve more suitable for modern fuel and to avoid the problems inherent in the old units.
