Smallest alternator of its type available on the market. Twin internal fans. Weighs only 2.4kgs! We have selected this specific unit beacause the body design makes fitting to Nord & Twinspark engines very simple.

Race alternators are designed to be used exclusively with circuit breaker master switches (as fitted to race cars) and thus, when fitted into a normal car electrical system, they will naturally leak back current flattening the battery over time. As a result we specially modify our alternators to prevent such drain back occuring. We have manufactured a bespoke fitting kit including specially machined fitting bolt and specially designed adjuster arm which can be purchased with the alternator.
