Stage 3 - Undersealing the car & fitting the headlining
Safely back home the cage was removed to prepare and spray the mounting pods of the cage. Then Chris Adams of Classic Car Interiors came and fitted a new GTA style headlining without the head recess above the rear seats.

Being an early GT Junior it has the small propshaft which suffers from a somewhat weak centre bearing support. With the amount of power which the Twin Spark engine will produce, I took the opportunity to modify the tunnel to accept a late propshaft and thus, be able to fit an Alfaholics heavy duty centre support.
Having burnt the majority of the underseal off before it went to the paintshop it was easy to wash the remains off with thinners and prepare the underneath to recoat. I sourced the same product that Mercedes-Benz use on the wheel arches and sills of their new cars to apply to the entire underside of the car.
