In 2003 the car was comprehensively converted to 2-litre specification including long 5th gear ratio (in overhauled gearbox), rear axle (limited slip, overhauled), brakes (Brembo aluminum front calipers, new master cylinder, adjustable brake proportioning valve) and a fast road engine (mild cams, ported head) by reputed specialist Ital Auto. Additional engine-related modifications include oil-to-water-cooler for rapid engine warmup and thermostatically-controlled electric fan. Suspension lowered for road use with red Konis, wheels are Cromodora 6 x 14.
Body extensively treated with Mike Sanders rust-proofing many years ago. Car in my ownership since 1994 and always stored in de-humidified garage.
All TÜV approved and with historic registration.
