1965 1600 Giulia Sprint GTA – FIA App. K - c/n 613073
Probably the best known FIA specification 1600 GTA currently racing!
Following an extensive rebuild in 2000, this wonderful car has been campaigned with great success and reliability by Jon Shipman and Mark Hales in many of the most prestigious events. These have included the Spa 6 Hours, Targa Florio Revival, FIA European Touring Car Championship, Dijon 3 Hours and the Goodwood Revival meeting.
613073 has been confirmed by the factory as one of the first 100 cars, built with aluminium floors by Autodelta. The aluminium floors have, of course, since been removed in the interests of safety and shell rigidity.
Originally imported into Berlin in 1966 by East German Touring Car Champion Herbert Schultze, this historic GTA will provide its owner with an automatic passport into many of the most prestigious events, including the Tour Auto.
The car is supplied with a freshly rebuilt engine and is ready to race, whilst an extensive spares package is available byseparate negotiation.
